Great front end on this first set from the rocking Chalk Dust all the way through to a standard Bouncing. Maybe a few spots here and there in Guelah and Ice. Possum rocked, of course. Stash had some problems, but not too bad. Trey needed to tune for Glide. Rift still had some timing issues in the middle Page solo, but had much more control in the end. Horn had some tough spots tonight. Hey Magilla's back! Nicely done and a huge Antelope to close out this really nice set.
Axilla rocks the opener spot, but Fish kind of drops the end. The Curtain was kind of all over the place and not very tight. Sample was good and a solid Pen right behind it. Forbin's had some weak spots, but the stories totally make up for that. More huge bust outs with Kung and Icculus. MBird was kind of weak and tired sounding. Wedge still has the alternate arrangement and wasn't bad. Mike's was good, and you almost get a glimpse of the next piece of Simple falling into place in the jam. Trey needs to tune during an average Hydrogen. Weekapaug was great, including the Fishman drum clinic. Golgi was an ok closer, good, but not great.
Super high energy encores from Fish on Sweet One and the Ball Jam, and then everyone gets shushed for a nice Adeline.
This show was already at four and a half stars and I feel that's right on. It could have been a touch better at times, but the bust outs easily put this above the four star range.
